Today I’m introducing a new product to my blog followers. This is a mail organizer that’s completely handmade by yours truly. I made the pouch out of an old book that I gutted and lined with fabric.
After the lining went in I installed grommets so that it could hang from a 3-ring binder spine that is attached to a salvaged piece of wood.
I painted and stenciled the wood with a tile pattern stencil from Royal Design Studio. The binder spine opens up just like it would in a binder, so you can remove the mail pouch and take it wherever you do your bills and correspondence.
Above the mail pouch I added three hooks to hold keys or anything else that hangs. There are label holders above each one that can be personalized to fit your needs.
I made this one for my daughter and it hangs outside her room. I am in the process of finishing three others that I’m going to sell as samples at a reduced price from my Etsy shop. I would love to hear feedback on whether or not you like the design. Please tell me what you love and what you’d change. I really want to hear all comments. Thanks!
